BECOME A GUARDIAN OF THE AMAZON FOREST ¡
de Piedra Azul,
On Saturday, the 15th of October, 2016, more than fifteen illegal loggers entered La Isla de Amor in the central Peruvian Amazon, a natural reserve protected by the 30th Century Peruvian Amazon Ayahuasca Association. They destroyed more than 500 hardwood and medicinal trees, leaving homeless many families of perezoso bears as well as many other animals. The loggers waited until our team had left the area over a weekend, and they then presented false documents to authorities in order to commit their crime.
The trees and other plants of the Amazon are the lungs of our planet. The massive and indiscriminate cutting of trees means less oxygen for all of the earth’s inhabitants. The greatest part of the wealth of the Amazon is hidden in its ancient forests.
With your support and effort, we will promote a national and international campaign to encourage a change of consciousness towards a more sustainable and united world.
“I am a guardian of the Amazon!” is the name of our campaign. Our objectives: to create a refuge of wild native animals, to reforest logged land, to set up an efficient security monitoring service, and to form a team of forest rangers on La Isla de Amor.
Who are we?
We are an independent non-profit association committed to the conservation of our cultural and environmental diversity.
We work on renovation projects in the fields of intercultural education, traditional medicine, reforestation, ecotourism, renewable energy, and the conservation of the Amazon and it’s wild native animals.

On our multidisciplinary team, formed of artists, educators, inventors, conservationists and sages of diverse native communities, we commit to protect life, the life of our Mother Earth, and the native peoples of Peru and Latin America.
Our mission is to be a local and international reference for the protection, conservation, and diffusion of the vast intelligence of the native peoples of Peru and of all Latin America, which has given rise to some of the most admirable civilizations on Earth. This indigenous knowledge could be the base from which we adapt to the destructive effects of climate change.
Indigenous knowledge, guarded for thousands of years, runs the risk of disappearance. Our mission is to be guardians, with the help and support of every person that feels the call to protect the Earth.
